Thursday Night Prayer Meeting is an invitation to share in the joys of improvised music. On the first Thursday of every month we start the night by bringing guest performers to the stage, and then putting together small groups from the audience to improvise together. No two performances will be the same. This instalment features for the first time a trio of double bassist John Pope, violinist Marie Schreer, and violinist John Garner.

Free from the boundaries of genre, we encourage music makers of all styles, backgrounds, and perceived levels of ability to come play together. We’ll provide a PA, drum kit and keyboard, but encourage you to bring anything else you’d like to make a noise with. We believe everyone should have access to improvised music, either as an audience member or participant. All are welcome!
